All Ages Craft Night Friday, December 14th 5-8pm The community is invited to join us for an all-ages craft night here with Kristen Obenhauser. We will have kits made up to make up to 3 holiday related crafts. Fee $10. Pizza night will also be in full swing, so bring the whole family!
Wine Tasting with So Po Wine Co- Friday, December 14th, 5-7 pm Colleen from So Po Wine Co of Portland will be on hand to taste some seasonal and holiday wines. We will also be holding an all-ages craft night, so come for wine and stay for crafts and pizza.
Introduction to Ayurveda Saturday, December 15th, 4-530pm Aga will be here hosting another one of her workshops – The Introduction to Ayurveda. During our time together, we will become familiar with the principles that are at the core of the oldest system of medicine. We will talk about Ayurvedic methods of assessment and treatment, how it can be of help, and the importance of maintaining balance in everyday life. We will also unmask a few myths surrounding the subject. The entry fee is 7$, paid at the location
Community Circle Sing Saturday, December 15th 6-9pm NOTE: COMMUNITY CIRCLE SING IS MEETING A WEEK EARLY!
New Parent Playgroup Wednesday, December 19th, 9am-10am We are starting a monthly playgroup for new parents and their babies. The playgroup is primarily aimed at 0-2 years old however if you have older children also, they are welcome. Playgroup will meet in the gallery space at 9 am.
Open Mic featuring The Oshima Brothers Friday, December 21st 7-9pm Open MIc will start at 7 pm so be sure to sign-up. Featured artist, The Oshima Brothers will take the stage at 8 pm. $5 donation suggested. Pizza nights starts at 5 pm! This is bound to be a well-attended show so plan to order pizza ahead of time and get here early for a seat!
Tuesdays: Yoga 630-7:45 pm Drop-in** Restorative Yin Yoga focuses on stretching and strengthening the joints and connective tissues within the body, through holding seated and reclined postures for 3-5 minutes. Yin complements the dynamic, muscular (yang) styles of yoga and other forms of exercise that emphasize internal heat and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin is suitable for all levels of physical fitness and those recovering from injuries.
