We go around “the circle” taking turns requesting or offering a song, always with the hope that everyone can join in. Acoustic instruments are welcome. While songs may come from any source, we often select tunes from two great songbooks, Rise Up Singing and Rise Again (https://www.riseupandsing.org/songbooks). Anyone who has either of these books is urged to bring them. We do have several extra copies of both to share. Contact Dan Townsend (oneyounggeezer@gmail.com, 207-549-7599) for more information. Because Sheepscot General Store closes at 6 pm on Saturdays, please plan to arrive earlier to purchase any food or beverages. Anyone arriving after 6 pm should use the side door that directly accesses the Community Room where the singing circle takes place.
