Friday 16 October 7PM– With a love for old-time country blues and folk fingerstyle guitar, Anson Biller is a recent arrival to Whitefield, ME. He’ll be playing some favorites, old and new – including Mississippi John Hurt, Dave Van Ronk, Fleet Foxes, and A.A. Bondy – as well as a couple of his own tunes.

Friday October 30th from 5-7pmSheepscot General will be offering pumpkin carving, pizza eating, bobbing for apples and a children’s book reading by June Atkins the Illustrator of “The Pumpkin Patch”.
The pumpkin patch is a noisy place, filled with pumpkins that fight and insult one another all day long. But everything changes when, one day, the Old Man asks them to stop — and just sit still. So begins a gently illustrated introduction to meditation that the youngest readers are sure to enjoy. Based on ancient Buddhist traditions, this timeless tale is beautifully illustrated. Come meet the artist and see some original artwork for the book.

We will be holding a drawing during the Brunch. Any mother attending will be entered to win a gift certificate to Sheepscot General. Drawing held at 2pm the day of the Brunch, you do not need to be present to win.
An Evening With The Aters is a performance featuring two of Maine’s premium talents, who also happen to be father and son. In separate acts, Max and Johnny leave audiences wanting more in the best way. Called a “true celebration of talent and family,” 21 year old Max Ater wins over the crowd in the first act with contemporary, original music. Following intermission, Johnny leaves everyone in stitches with his faces and witty Maine humor. This FRIDAY 7pm at Sheepscot General. Admission is $10. First come, first serve. Pizza night starts at 5pm, call early with your order.
