Outdoor Concert with Aarondippidy: Friday, August 17th 7-9pm The second outdoor concert of the season. Admission $10 (at the door only) for Adults, kids free. We will have local beer and, of course, pizza. Aarondippity got together in a garage over the winter of 2017/18, near the confluence of the Eastern Branch and Kennebec Rivers in central Maine. Composed of musicians with both professional and street performance experience, they embrace a wide variety of styles. These include music from the roaring 20’s; blues; classic rock; funk and hip-hop, as well as influences from Eastern, African, and Latin music


Introduction to Ayurveda: Saturday, August 25th 5-6pm We are very pleased to host Agnieszka Monson of Rainglow Holistic, Whitefield, Maine – for  The Introduction to Ayurveda. During this workshop participants will become familiar with the principles that are at the core of the oldest system of medicine. We will talk about Ayurvedic methods of assessment and treatment, how it can be of help, and the importance of maintaining balance in everyday life. We will also unmask a few myths surrounding the subject.
The entry fee is 6$ per person, paid at Sheepscot General the day of the workshop.


Community Circle Sing : Saturday, August 25th 6-9pmCommunity Singing Circle continues in Whitefield .The fifth session of a community singing circle will meet at Sheepscot General Store, 98 Townhouse Road, Whitefield, on Saturday, July 28th, starting at 6:00 p.m. A small but lively group met for the inaugural session in April. As in the first session, acoustic instruments are welcome, but please arrive a little early fortuning up. While songs may come from any source, the two volumes of Rise Up Singing and Rise Again (https://www.riseupandsing.org/songbooks) offer a richsource of songs from folk and the blues to the Beatles. Wine Tasting with So Po Wine Co: Friday, September 14th 4-6pm Colleen from South Portland Wine Co will be on hand to offer a tasting of some new and seasonal wines. We will also be hosting a “meet the artist” night here with Tom Sweet and later at 7pm, we will have an outdoor concert with Walter Weymouth. See our event page for more details!


 Tom Sweet Art Month & Meet the Artist: Month of September & Friday, September 14th 4-6pm  We are excited to host Tom Sweet’s art for the whole month of September. Available for viewing Sept 4- 30th in our gallery. We will host Tom on September 14th from 4-6pm for a “Meet the Artist” reception. Select pieces will be for sale. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime show.

 Outdoor Concert with Walter Weymouth: Friday, September 14th 7-9pm  We are excited to welcome back Walter Weymouth to end our summer outdoor concerts. The local Pittston native will take our hay wagon stage on September 14th at 7pm. Don’t miss it!

Working “Girls” – An Evening with “The Blue Collar Daughters” Friday, October 5th 6-8pm We are excited to announce a poetry reading with three local ladies: Claire Hersom, Judith Robbins, and Susann Pelletier. These ladies will read from their works in “Blue Collar Daughters” where they warmly remember life their hard-scrabble mill towns.

Tuesdays: Yoga 630-7:45 pm Drop-in** Restorative Yin Yoga focuses on stretching and strengthening the joints and connective tissues within the body, through holding seated and reclined postures for 3-5 minutes. Yin complements the dynamic, muscular (yang) styles of yoga and other forms of exercise that emphasize internal heat and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin is suitable for all levels of physical fitness and those recovering from injuries.
