David Foley & Pixie Lauder

Pixie Lauer and David Foley blend polished vocals, harmonies, and multiple instruments, offering a home-cooked meal of original songs, Americana, folk, Celtic, blues, and more.

Pixie Lauer is a musician and songwriter from Alna. She grew up in Camden, and began her musical journey young, learning from musicians such as Gordon Bok and Sarah Grey. She was in the well-loved folk quartet “Different Shoes,” which released two albums. Pixie also recorded and released a solo album. She has played in many ensembles, toured extensively around the United States, and accompanies her warm alto vocals with guitars and mandolin.

David Foley lives in Northport. He’s played and sung since childhood, and feels he might be getting the hang of it. He’s worked his craft and played with Maine musicians including Cindy Kallet, Will Brown, Kat Logan, Nick Apollonio, David Dodson, Ed Geis, Judy McMahon, and Mia Mantello. He’s overjoyed to play with Pixie, contributing baritone vocals, guitars, Irish bouzouki, and mandola.
