Stonecipher Farm has gorgeous fresh organic ginger and turmeric to move, and we must move it quickly! 

Orders are due by Saturday, November 15th . Pick-up will be Wednesday, November 19 and Thursday, November 20 at Sheepscot General.

Enjoy fresh, organic ginger and turmeric grown right in Bowdoinham! Ginger grown in Maine is harvested at an immature state; we can not grow it to maturity here. Immature ginger is GORGEOUS, skinless, and has no fiber! Have you ever wondered why pickled ginger (in sushi) and candied ginger has none of the fiber you're used to when grating ginger at home?  It is because it is made from young IMMATURE ginger (or turmeric).

So consider pickling, candy-ing, suspending in honey or freezing your baby ginger and turmeric, while the getting is good.
